Colour trends

The trend is towards self-acceptance: more than ever, women are opting for colours that look natural.

The aim is to work around a woman's natural colour, enhancing it with a glossy sheen or highlights. This allows her to enjoy her colour with minimum maintenance.

Pure chestnut shades with no oxidised red tones are increasingly in vogue.
These chestnut shades rejuvenate the features and create incredible depth for the eyes: it’s a bit like the “little black dress”, the basic in colouring.

After this, the trend is towards any colour, as long as it looks natural. Blondes are soft, reds are chic and elegant (the new blondes), capturing all the sensuality and radiance of blonde without actually being blonde.

To sum it up, any colour goes provided that it gives the appearance of being “not dyed”, and of course it must be in perfect harmony with the skin tone and eyes… Farewell to “fake” shades!

As a counter-trend, and perhaps in reaction to the economic crisis, we also like peroxide blondes with dark roots, such as Natasha Poly, and completely eccentric ginger reds like Tilda Swinton, or jet blacks like Eva Green or Dita Von Teese.
